What's the Cost and What's Included?

The Early Registration deadline is November 14th, with registration closing on December 5th or earlier if the league sells out.  Early Registration fees are $1,200 for a team of 12-15 players ($35 for each additional player over 15 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $120 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team).  Regular Registration prices are $1,300 for a full team and $130 for individual players (after August 8th).  ZogSportsNJ donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes:

• 7 regular season games and 1 scrimmage
• One head referee/game
• A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament
• One t-shirt per person on the roster
• Field fees
• Equipment
• "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
• League administration
• Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does It Start?

We are having pre-season scrimmages on Thursday, January 8th.  The regular season starts on Thursday, January 15th and runs on Thursday evenings from January through March.  Games typically start at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 pm.   

Where Are We Playing?

All games will be played in the Bubble at the Meadowlands.  This is a truly awesome facility that you are going to be pumped up about!  Plenty of free parking is available and public transportation is available by bus to Manhattan and throughout New Jersey.  Click here information about public transportation or for Maps & Directions.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun recreational touch football league.  So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe.  The key rules are:

• 8 on 8, 5 men and 3 women on the field at all times
• No contact, 2-hand touch
• A woman must be a Primary Player on a play within 3 consecutive plays
• Scoring - 6 points for touchdown and your decision for 1 or 2-point conversion.  (After the game, the team that has the most fun wins)

Levels of Play

Players - Ex-high school jock?  Still think you have game?  If you want to win and play hard this is the league for you.

Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social. 

Casual - Looking for a social fun league?  Not a bad athlete?  This is the league for you.

ZogSports NJ will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Division, but cannot guarantee all requests.  We will not place a team or player more than 1 division (above or below) their original request.
